ABOUT HIRTSHALS SERVICE GROUP AND THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COMPANIES

Hirtshals Service Group is a maritime network consisting of companies with close ties to the Port of Hirtshals. The network offers one entry point to a full-service concept for customers and users of the Port of Hirtshals. The service companies at the Port of Hirtshals offer qualified and competent services to all types of vessels such as fishing vessels, cargo ships, naval vessels, ferries and supply vessels for the oil sector. Due to our geographical location, we have extensive experience in servicing ships that sail the North Sea area. These include ships from Norway, Sweden and Great Britain, which for many years have been pleased to call into port to be serviced by the companies here.

The network offers all specialties in maintenance, repair and conversion, including overhaul and service of engines and gears, ship electronics, steel work, coating, ship insulation, repair of refrigeration/freezing systems, shaft alignment, repair of rudder systems, repair of propeller equipment and propeller blades, mobile machinery, etc.

Hirtshals Service Group consists of a large number of companies in shipping, stevedore services and logistics and has companies that can handle any challenge within these fields, whether it is providing spare parts for the ship’s own operations or handling and redistributing goods to other destinations in the North Sea or on the well-developed road network on land. With approximately 60 ferry calls per week, Hirtshals allows for direct freight traffic between continental Europe and destinations in Scandinavia as well as the Faroe Islands and Iceland.

As an important fishing port, Hirtshals has many companies such as fish reception ice plants and port service for fishing vessels such as dragnet manufacturing and sail making. Here is everything that fishermen need to run their profession.

In Hirtshals Service Group, we have oil companies, ship provisioning companies and other utility companies, so that any ship can supply itself with everything they need in terms of goods and materials for the ship’s operation.

In addition, our association has a number of financial and consultancy companies that offer services for the ships as well as for the port’s businesses.
